19313 Shibatakazunari           Discovered 1996 Nov. 6 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Kazunari Shibata (b. 1954) is a professor at Kyoto University, and has served as director of Kwasan and Hida Observatories for 15 years. He has contributed to the understanding of the basic magnetohydrodynamic mechanism of jets and flares on the Sun, stars, accretion disks, and active galactic nuclei.
