18984 Olathe           Discovered 2000 Sept. 2 by L. Robinson at the Sunflower Observatory.
O-Lay'-tha is the old Shawnee word for "Beautiful". The township of Olathe, Kansas, was established in 1857 and later became a stop along the Santa Fe Trail. It is the site of the Sunflower Observatory.
