189011 Ogmios           Discovered 1997 July 8 by the OCA-DLR Asteroid Survey at Caussols.
Ogmios is the Celtic patron god of scholars and the personification of eloquence and persuasiveness. Inventor of the runic language of the Druids, he escorted souls on their journey to the afterlife. He is represented as an old man, with a bald head and dressed in a lion skin.
