18601 Zafar           Discovered 1998 Jan. 23 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Abu-Bakr Zafar (b. 1985) was awarded second place in the 2003 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for his zoology project. He attends the Panama City Advanced School, Panama City, Florida, U.S.A.
