18593 Wangzhongcheng           Discovered 1998 Jan. 5 by the Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program at Xinglong.
Wang Zhongcheng (b. 1925), neurosurgeon-academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is a pioneer in micro-neurosurgery technology and has developed new methods for treating tumors in the brain stem and spinal cord. He was awarded China's State Supreme Science and Technology Prize in 2008.
