185636 Shiao Lin           Discovered 2008 Feb. 27 by C.-S. Lin and Q.-z. Ye at Lulin Observatory.
This minor planet is named in memory of the people of Shiao Lin, literally "Little Forest" in Mandarin Chinese, whose village was buried in the landslide caused by Typhoon Morakot on 2009 Aug. 8.
