18510 Chasles           Discovered 1996 Sept. 16 by P. G. Comba at Prescott.
Michel Chasles (1793-1880) was professor at the École Polytechnique and later at the Sorbonne. His main contributions were in projective geometry, which he developed with a synthetic approach.
