17759 Hatta           Discovered 1998 Feb. 17 by Y. Shimizu and T. Urata at the Nachi-Katsuura Observatory.
Hatta is one of the king's two messengers, one to fetch and one to carry, in Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there. He is seen bounding away "like a grasshopper".
