17615 Takeomasaru           Discovered 1995 Oct. 30 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Masaru Takeo (b. 1947) is one of the most well-known amateur astronomers in Ehime prefecture. His main interests are comet hunting and solar eclipse observations, and he is a member of the Oriental Astronomical Association.
