17470 Mitsuhashi           Discovered 1991 Jan. 19 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Yasuhiko Mitsuhashi (b. 1947), an amateur astronomer as well as a medical practitioner in Takamatsu City. His hospital is known for the astronomical observatory on its roof. The observatory is open to both his patients and to local residents, increasing astronomical awareness in the area.
