17184 Carlrogers           Discovered 1999 Nov. 13 by C. W. Juels at Fountain Hills.
Carl R. Rogers (1902-1987) was a psychologist who developed a very popular method of psychotherapy called client-centered therapy. Two of his books are Client Centered Therapy (1951) and On Becoming a Person (1961). He was president of the American Psychological Association during 1946-1947.
