17079 Lavrovsky           Discovered 1999 Apr. 17 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Vladislav Igorevich Lavrovsky (b. 1986) was awarded fourth place in the 2003 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for his biochemistry project. He attends the Queen Elizabeth High School, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
