16144 Korsten           Discovered 1999 Dec. 15 by C. W. Juels at Fountain Hills.
Erich E. Korsten (b. 1945) is a hydrologist and amateur astronomer from Dresden who now lives in Fountain Hills, Arizona. He helped construct the Fountain Hills Observatory, where this minor planet was discovered.
