16002 Bertin           Discovered 1999 Jan. 15 by the OCA-DLR Asteroid Survey at Caussols.
Emmanuel Bertin (b. 1973) is the author of the well-known sextractor package, which is used in several observing programs for the automatic detection of minor planets. A specialist in cosmology, he now works for the Terapix consortium at the Institut d´Astrophysique de Paris.
