Slovak soprano Gabriela Beňačková-Čápová (b. 1947) belonged to the National Theatre in Prague and the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. She is a permanent guest of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Covent Garden in London and the Vienna State Opera and collaborates with the New York Metropolitan Theater.
