15526 Kokura           Discovered 1999 Dec. 8 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station.
Kokura high school is in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Some students are involved in the observation of minor planets, and the school was selected as one of the Super Science High Schools by the Japanese government.
