15499 Cloyd           Discovered 1999 Mar. 19 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station.
Marshall P. Cloyd (b. 1939), a businessman and philanthropist, has provided assistance to organizations in the U.S. and U.K. to preserve historical items and artifacts, and he has encouraged public exhibitions for naval, aeronautic and space programs. The name was suggested by E. K. Gibson and F. Vilas.
