15467 Aflorsch           Discovered 1999 Jan. 15 by the OCA-DLR Asteroid Survey at Caussols.
Alphonse Florsch (b. 1929) was, for many years, the director of the Observatoire de Strasbourg. A specialist in radial velocities in the Small Magellanic Cloud, he was also secretary of the Groupe d´Alsace of the Société Astronomique de France for 20 years. Now retired, he still continues to teach astronomy in schools.
