15169 Wilfriedboland           Discovered 1960 Sept. 24 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Wilfried Boland (b. 1953) is a Dutch astronomer in Leiden. Having studied in Utrecht, he obtained his PhD on molecular clouds in Amsterdam. After working in the Astron directorate (Dutch radio astronomy), he later became the executive director of the Dutch Research School for Astronomy.
