15168 Marijnfranx           Discovered 1960 Sept. 24 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Marijn Franx (b. 1960) is a Dutch astronomer in Leiden. His research interests are very-high-redshift galaxies, which he observed with the Hubble Space Telescope. In 2010 he received the Dutch Spinoza Prize.
