15146 Halpov           Discovered 2000 Mar. 11 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station.
Harold R. Povenmire (b. 1939) has extensively searched the Georgia strewn field in an effort to find tektites and understand their complicated geology. He recently published the book Tektites: A Cosmic Enigma. He has also been an avid observer of grazing lunar occultations and of occultations by minor planets.
