15001 Fuzhou           Discovered 1997 Nov. 21 by Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program at Xinglong.
Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian Province, P.R. China. Besides being a famous Chinese historical and cultural city, Fuzhou is a modern metropolis with a population of over 7 million. Fuzhou is the hometown of many of the most recognized astronomers in China.
