14853 Shimokawa           Discovered 1989 Sept. 30 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Yoji Shimokawa (b. 1956) is a Japanese amateur astronomer. His major astronomical interest is the photography of nebula and star clusters, and he is active in organizing local star parties for amateur astronomers.
