14818 Mindeli           Discovered 1982 Oct. 21 by L. G. Karachkina at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Elisbar Mindeli (1910-1980), a noted expert in coal mining, was the director of the Institute of Mountain Mechanics (1973-1980) and a corresponding member of the Georgian Academy of Sciences (1979-1980).
