14794 Konetskiy           Discovered 1976 Sept. 24 by N. S. Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Victor Victorovich Konetskiy (1929-2002) was a Russian writer who also became the captain of an ocean-going ship in the Arctic Ocean. He was the author of more than 50 well-known novels, stories and film scripts.
