143641 Sapello           Discovered 2003 July 5 by W. H. Ryan and C. T. Martinez at Mount Graham International Observatory.
Sapello is a small village in northern New Mexico that became an important trading stop for travelers on the Santa Fe Trail. In more recent times, astronomers have favored this location because of its dark skies.
