Jef Geeraerts (Jozef Adriaan Anna van der Heiden, b. 1930) is a Flemish author. After serving as an administrator in Belgian Congo, he devoted himself entirely to literature. His first novel I'm just a Negro (1962) made him famous, although he will be always remembered for Ten letters on love and death (1971).
