12567 Herreweghe           Discovered 1998 Sept. 21 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Philippe Herreweghe (b. 1945) has studied medicine and psychiatry at Ghent University, combining this study with piano at the conservatory. In 1971 he founded the Ghent Collegium Vocale and became its conductor. He is known worldwide for his baroque music interpretations.
