12472 Samadhi           Discovered 1997 Feb. 3 by Spacewatch on Kitt Peak.
Samadhi is the Sanskrit word for the mental state of unity of subject and object, characterized by the complete and ongoing absence of discrete thoughts. Practised meditators, artists and athletes know this empty state as one of spontaneous and easy attention to the matter at hand.
