12398 Pickhardt           Discovered 1995 May 25 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak.
Wilhelm Pickhardt (b. 1923) studied geology at the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. He conducted research at the Mining Research Institute for Bituminous Coal and held an adjunct professorship at the Technical University of Berlin.
