12141 Chushayashi           Discovered 1960 Sept. 24 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld at Leiden on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Chushiro Hayashi (b. 1920) is a Japanese astrophysicist who made pioneering models of star formation and significant discoveries related to the formation of elements in the early universe.
