12128 Palermiti           Discovered 1999 Sept. 13 by C. W. Juels at Fountain Hills.
Director of an observatory in Florida, Mike Palermiti (b. 1949) provides expert consultation to the astronomical community about optics, telescope design and CCDs. He contributed to the early development of low-light-level imaging and has made significant observations of novae, minor planets, comets and occultations.
