12042 Laques           Discovered 1997 Mar. 17 by C. Buil at Ramonville St Agne.
Pierre Laques (b. 1934) started his career at the private observatory of the Chateau D´Abadia near Hendaye, moving to the Pic du Midi, where the 1-m telescope had just been built. He is one of the codiscoverers of the satellite Saturn XII (Helène).
