12014 Bobhawkes           Discovered 1996 Nov. 5 by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak.
Robert Lewis Hawkes (b. 1951) became head of the physics department at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, in 2000. His graduate work at the University of Western Ontario in 1979 was on the dustball theory of meteoroids.
