Berta Degenfeld-Schomburg (1843-1928) was a Hungarian amateur astronomer who took part in the work of the Kiskartal Observatory, established by her husband Baron Géza Podmaniczky. The third independent discoverer of supernova 1885A, she concentrated on meteor observations and organized the observatory library.
