11584 Ferenczi           Discovered 1994 Aug. 10 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Sándor Ferenczi (1873-1933) was a Hungarian psychoanalyst who improved the therapeutic technique of free association. In The Development of Psychoanalysis (1924) he favored the creation of a loving, permissive atmosphere by the therapist.
