11547 Griesser           Discovered 1992 Oct. 31 by F. Borngen at Tautenburg.
Swiss amateur astronomer Markus Griesser (b. 1949) is cofounder of the Eschenberg Observatory in Winterthur. A passionate science writer and popularizer of astronomy, he is also a diligent observer of near-earth objects. This minor planet was numbered as a result of observations made by him in Sept. 1999.
