Discovered 1999 Jan. 15 by F. B. Zoltowski at Woomera.
Woomera, Aboriginal for spear thrower, is a village in the Australian outback founded in 1947 as a rocket rangehead. Woomera and its range played a key role in Australia's space program, culminating in the orbital launch of WRESAT in 1967. It was home to the discoverer for twelve years.
