10724 Carolraymond           Discovered 1986 Nov. 5 by E. Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station of the Lowell Observatory.
Carol A. Raymond (b. 1960) is a scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory who served as the project scientist and deputy principal investigator for the Dawn mission to Vesta. She headed the geophysics working group studying Vesta's interior structure.
