10516 Sakurajima           Discovered 1989 Nov. 1 by M. Mukai and M. Takeishi at JCPM Kagoshima Station.
Mt. Sakurajima is a volcano located on the southern tip of Kyushu, Kagoshima prefecture, on the southwestern-most island of Japan. It is 1117 meters high and is extremely active at present. It is said that Mt. Sakurajima changes color seven times a day.
