10500 Nishi-koen           Discovered 1987 Apr. 3 by M. Koishikawa at the Ayashi Station of the Sendai Astronomical Observatory.
Nishi-koen park is the location of the Sendai Astronomical Observatory, which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary on 2005 Feb. 1. The observatory will be moved to near the Ayashi Station in 2008.
