10453 Banzan           Discovered 1977 Feb. 18 by H. Kosai and K. Hurukawa at the Kiso Station of the Tokyo Astronomical Observatory.
Kumazawa Banzan (1619-1691) was a Confucian scholar in the Edo period. He endeavored to popularize education in Okayama prefecture.
