The Sadamisaki peninsula, in the westernmost part of the island of Shikoku, is the narrowest peninsula in Japan. Extending some 40-km from Yawatahama city toward the island of Kyushu, it separates the Seto Inland Sea from the Pacific Ocean. It is home to the Ikata Nuclear Power Plant. |
