100007 Peters           Discovered 1988 Feb. 13 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Christian Heinrich Friedrich Peters (1813-1890) was a German-American astronomer and a prolific discoverer of asteroids visually. He discovered 48 asteroids as well as the comet now known as 80P/Peters-Hartley. Name suggested by Michel-Alain Combes.
