3763 Qianxuesen           Discovered 1980 Oct. 14 at the Purple Mountain Observatory.
Qian Xuesen (b. 1911), known for his pioneering contributions to aerodynamics, the physics of solids and engineering cybernetics, laid the theoretical foundation for overcoming the sound barrier and is recognized in the Karman-Tsien rule. He is honorary president of the Chinese Association for Sciences and Technology.
