The Argentinian biochemist César Milstein (1927-2002) received the Nobel Prize in medicine in 1984, together with N. K. Jerne and G. J. F. Köhler for their work in the field of immunology. César Milstein was head at the British Medical Research Council's Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge. |
