10071 Paraguay           Discovered 1989 Mar. 2 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Paraguay is a South American country bordered by Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina. The Paraguay river runs through the country from north to south. The Guarani and other indigenous natives inhabited the country for thousands of years before the Spanish arrived in the sixteenth century.
