Asteroid and Comet Field-of-View Search Request

The “Asteroid & Comet Field-of-View Search Request” (ispy/fov) tool https://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/x/fov.html is obsolete. It has been replaced by

• the “Small-Body Identification Tool”
• with corresponding API.

If needed, the prior “ispy/fov” system, with its additional uncertainty mapping and other options, can still be accessed by sending e-mail command files with the subject “FOV” to horizons@ssd.jpl.nasa.gov, as documented.

Eventually, parallelized “ispy/fov” functionality and output will return in the new tool and API interfaces, but that development is pending, so only e-mail command-file access for that right now.
