9871 Jeon           Discovered 1992 Feb. 28 by T. Fujii and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Jeon San-Woon (b. 1928) is a historian of Korean astronomy and technology. He served as president of the Korean Society of History and Science. He was also a guest professor at Kyoto University in Japan and at Yonsei University in Korea.
