85466 Krastins           Discovered 1997 May 3 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Janis Krastins (b. 1943), a Latvian architect, is a prolific and enthusiastic contemporary scholar of Riga's architecture. He has contributed more than 600 papers and several books on the subject. A graduate of Riga's Polytechnic Institute, he has lectured at Harvard University on architectural eclecticism and Art Nouveau.
